The Canton of Basingestoches asks for you to join us at our Feast of Saint Sylvester and Baronial A&S Championship, Saturday January 11th 2025 from 11am till the food is gone!
It is time once again to celebrate the passing of another year amongst friends with food, drink and games! Our site is a lovely Tudor style hall that will welcome you in and invite you to relax as you enjoy the games that will begin at 11am. Bring your favorite game or play some of the classics while the fireplace warms you. The Cock & Bull Tavern will be open with snacks and conversation when the site opens.
10am Artist can set up their entries for viewing. There will be a table for non competing displays provided.
From 11am – 4:30 will be the A&S Championship entry displays. Judging will be done during this time and will be closed to the populace while the judges are in discussion.
At 2pm there will be a YOUTH CHALLENGE! We invite any under 21 to make a nonalcoholic cordial for a round-table discussion. A great family activity, this is to help future brewers learn how to discuss and panel a brew.
At 3:30pm there will be an adult nonalcoholic cordial for a round-table discussion. Afterwards all entries will be put up for a populace vote.
At 5:30pm the feast will be served and any who wish to provide entertainment are encouraged to do so. Ulf of Mulbu is our wonderful Feastocrat this year.

From Ellsworth Me. take route 3 to Mount Desert Island. At the head of the Island bear right onto rt 102. At the next traffic light in Somesville (Just past the Shell station) take a left. Stay on that road until you enter Northeast Harbor. In Northeast Harbor bear left onto main street. At the end of Main street is the Neighborhood house. Parking is on the streets plus the medical center to the right.
